People Don't Care About Issues

The second half of this clip is Hillary Clinton speaking in last night's debate against Barack Obama. Watch as she unabashedly lifts her closing remarks from pretty-boy quitter John Edwards. It's getting scandalous!

"Campaign will announce 'key' backer at an 11 am ET conference call with reporters."

Edwards?

Update: We were all wrong. Lincoln Chafee, a former Republican Senator from Rhode Island who left his party last year to become an independent, is now endorsing Barack Obama.

Today: The Democratic Candidates

poldood

Celebrities make too much money. Subjective, sure, but probably true. Truer still is that very often those fortunes are wasted in inglorious, ill-planned blazes.

But sometimes the millions serve a higher purpose; sixth homes declined in favor of the public that makes a celebrity a celebrity. Yet where are those figures in Star and the National Enquirer?

SOMETIMES BEING RIGHT IS LONELY "The striking members of the Writers Guild are disappointed they aren't getting more support from the supposedly pro-union Democratic presidential candidates. And She's Proving It By Throwing Things Like a Baby!

It's being reported that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are divided on the '08 presidential election, with Pitt supporting Barack Obama and Angelina backing John Edwards (sowwy, Hiwawwy). So heated is their divide that it has at least once devolved into a shouting match.

An insider close to the Pitt family said, "They got into a huge fight about politics (Brad supports Barack Obama, while Angie's a John Edwards fan.) Brad ended up calling her immature. He says the next thing he knew, Angie was cursing at him and throwing a glass of wine in his face." Brad, understandably, was speechless. "He was left standing there with wine dripping down his face onto his clothes, before storming off to wash up and change. He says he was absolutely disgusted by Angelina’s behavior.”

Sorry, Angelina, I know your mighty heart is in the right place, but I'm afraid voting for John Edwards is actually kinda immature.

More of Jolie with the kids under here.
