Perfection

Last night's Saturday Night Live was epic, right, guys? Or was that just us? To kick things off, Mark Wahlberg made good on his promise to confront Andy Samberg in the SNL studios' "cafeteria" — and it was hilariously awesome. We can't tell if Mark really didn't have a sense of humor about the animals skit when it debuted a couple weeks ago and then slowly grew one or if he has simply been fooling us all along. Either way, he was funny.

And then it happened: Vice Presidential joke Sarah Palin also followed through with her threat to appear on the show, despite our concerns that the cast would go easy on her. They openly mocked her during a Weekend Update rap, moose and all. We would say more, but we don't want to spoil the glory.

Click through for both clips.

ANOTHER ANNOYING GUEST LINED UP FOR THIS WEEK'S SNL "Saturday Night Live's Andy Samberg better watch out for Mark Wahlberg! The actor is miffed after Samberg portrayed him in a skit called 'Mark Wahlberg Talks to Animals' on Oct. 11's show. … A source hints to Usmagazine.com that Wahlberg will appear on SNL this weekend to get his revenge in person."

Weirdest Celebrity Feud This Week

Marky Mark had his panties all in a funky bunch last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live, still pissed about that Saturday Night Live sketch where Andy Samberg impersonated him talking to animals.

After Kimmel plays some of the video, Wahlberg, with absolutely no trace of humor whatsoever says, "When I see that kid, I'm going to crack that big f–king nose of his."

You'd think growing up on the tough streets of Boston with a third nipple would have given Mark a little bit of training with chilling the eff out.

Say Hello To Your Mother For Me

Mark Wahlberg, the man behind both "Good Vibrations" and Entourage, isn't exactly known for his warm and friendly demeanor. So it should come as no surprise that Marky Mark had some harsh words for Saturday Night Live after the show featured a clip of him (played by Andy Samberg) talking to random animals. The sketch was bizarre and slightly humorous (still, it's no "Fancy Pants"), but Wahlberg was not amused.

Someone showed it to me on YouTube. It wasn't like Tina Fey doing Sarah Palin, that's for sure. And Saturday Night Live hasn't been funny for a long time. They've asked me to do the show a ton of times. I used to watch it when Eddie Murphy was there and Joe Piscopo and Bill Murray. I don't even know who's on the show now.

Oh, Marky Mark. You should probably be grateful to SNL for this whole thing — it's the most attention you've had in years. Click through for the clip and judge for yourself.

Gay Clay Not As Great As Kim K

OK! magazine was not interested in Clay Aiken's coming out story, claiming it wasn't a big deal. Yeah, why feature a talked-about story when you can have a cover like the one above? Good move, OK! [INO]

It was well worth it! The second one sucked! People tell George Clooney it's great, but we all know it sucked.

I made two bad movies instead - Planet of the Apes and The Truth About Charlie. But doing that was better than sitting with Brad and George, telling the press how great everybody is: 'We were in Europe, George was funny, then we had some wine…' That's not for me.

Homophobia Is Gay

Nice one, Marky Mark!

You used to be PT Anderson material, man. What happened to that guy? We're now officially hoping your juvenile, homophobic hang-ups have relegated you to a lifetime of bad-cop sidekick roles and frattastic, high-five fests like Entourage. Leave the acting to the actors.

For someone supposedly raised under the tolerant canopy of free love and unyielding peace, Joaquin Phoenix is oddly ornery.

Joaquin Phoenix…set a new standard for surliness with Time Out New York's Laura Leu the other day. When Leu asked by phone how he prepared for his role as a drug-addled nightclub manager in "We Own the Night," Phoenix responded, "I never prepare. I think that's completely overrated. It's a very simple job. All you have to do is . . . stand in the right spot and say the line. So I don't really believe in preparation."

He's actually right about that. Most "actors" are just posturing egoists who would starve if the world's trendy restaurants were shuttered. But then he gets downright rude.

Just a reminder: you don't have to shake hands with black guys like this. Sometimes they'll lead the handshake and then you just gotta go with it but, if you're leading, a standard palm-to-palm grasp is more than sufficient. Automatically jumping into the curling fingers and fist bumping is just like calling them "brother" or asking them how they get their hair to "do that."
