Project Runway judge and catchphrase coiner Tim Gunn on lady style of the presidential campaign:
THE KISS OF DEATH "View co-host Sherri Shepherd can't contain her admiration for potential first lady Michelle Obama. 'She is so poised, gracious, intelligent, charming and funny. … I would love to have her as a first lady!'"
Michelle Obama suffered through an entire hour of the The View this morning, because she's a good wife who will help her husband do anything to reach his dreams. You can bet after it was over, she called up Barack and informed him he would be doing the dishes for the next month. That aside, she came across like any other typical mother, which will surely still not be good enough for those who refuse to vote for Obama because he's black.

[Fox News] has released a statement saying it should not have referred to Mr. Obama’s wife, Michelle, as “Obama’s Baby Mama,’’ as it did on Wednesday in an on-screen headline commonly called a “chyron.”
“A producer on the program exercised poor judgment in using this chyron during the segment,” Bill Shine, a Fox News senior vice president, said in a statement.
…
The Oxford English Dictionary defines the term as one “chiefly in African-American usage” that refers to, “The mother of a man’s child, who is not his wife nor (in most cases) his current or exclusive partner.”
Y'know, if you have to apologize for calling an historical black man's wife a tramp and his children bastards, maybe it's time to hang up the microphones. You fucking dicks.

Bill Geddie, executive producer of experimental torture device The View, confirmed Wednesday that Michelle Obama, wife of Barack, will be guest hosting an upcoming episode of the show.
Like Cindy McCain did when she guest hosted The View in April, Obama will help interview guests and participate in the impotent rambling of "Hot Topics." Unfortunately, because of the inextricable connection between her behavior and the electability of her husband, Obama will not be able to put that wench Elisabeth Hasselbeck in her place. But that would be awesome.
Michelle Obama appeared on The Colbert Report to promote her husband's presidential campaign, and promote she did: She side-stepped any potentially funny joke in order to tell us how Barack is going to change the country. Listen lady, we know. We've heard it all before. The least you could do is play along with Colbert and appear to have a sense of humor.
Video after the jump.
