Faithful Mollygood reader stopthemadness must be psychic, because we were just thinking yesterday that it had been too long since we'd caught up with Spaghetti Cat. Lo and behold, a few hours later we received this clip in our inbox, featuring SC in his latest movie role. It brings a tear to our eye to know that our little baby is growing up and making it big. (And thanks to Keeblerkahn, who made the discovery.)
Our favorite part is at the 0:50 mark, when SC uses his paw to dodge multiple bullets. What a cat.

Is everybody sitting down? I have some exciting news: Next week I will be dispatched to cover an event hosted by none other than Michael Phelps! I'll give you a minute to stop squealing.
As you can imagine, I've been preparing for this moment my entire life — so I decided to ask for your input, dear readers: What should I ask Michael when I interview him on the red carpet (or as I follow him around throughout the evening)? All suggestions welcome. (Keep it clean; I am a classy lady.)

'Tis a sad day for the hags: Mollygood crush Ryan Reynolds wed Scarlett Johansson in a small ceremony in Vancouver over the weekend. Take a few moments to let this news sink in. We'll continue when you're ready.
This is a tough blow because the couple had been engaged for only four months — not a proper amount of time to process and grieve. We give all of you Reynolds lovers permission to take the day off from work, and support group information will be distributed in the near future.
Stay strong.

Clay Aiken finally admitted to People magazine that he's gay, confirming what the rest of the world has known for years. "I cannot raise a child to lie or hide things," Clay says on the cover of the mag's latest issue, which features the American Idol alum with his tiny new baby.
Some of us are more excited about this development than others, as evidenced by Mollygood's editor Cord Jefferson, who jovially announced via Gchat: "clay aiken's out!!!! post IT POST IT"
Queerty has more details, complete with the glorious cover, here.

Today is kind of a milestone of mine, because it's my one year anniversary at Jossip HQ. I started out as an intern over at Jossip.com for a few months before being moved over to Mollygood full-time, so it's not my real first anniversary yet, but I'm sentimental and celebrate anytime I can. I remember showing up at what I have dubbed The Tiniest Starbucks In The World across the street from Bryant Park to interview for the internship and staring across out the window at all of the celebrities and models (and Nigel Barker!). I hadn't a clue I would be there a year later, which is what made this Fashion Week exciting for me. CONTINUED »

Know what? I hate modern American politics. Hate them. I think both Republicans and Democrats are to blame for them being divisive, ugly, cruel, misguided, dumbed-down, bigoted, unhelpful, fiscally shameful—all of it. That being said, looking at Mollygood over the past couple weeks, you might never be able to tell that I harbor those feelings. Allow me to explain.

Sometimes our readers do something so brilliant it's worth recognition, and this is one of those instances. Thanks to killorn for putting together a lovely tribute to Spaghetti Cat, which features the feline among other great American symbols. It's truly touching.

We squealed a little when we first saw that the next Bachelor will be Jason Mesnick, the lovable 32-year-old single dad from Seattle who was rejected by whiny Bachelorette DeAnna Pappas last season. Jason was always adorable, but the one who really stole the show was his 3-year-old son, Ty. Which worries us, because the last thing Ty needs is to see his father on national television week after week, only to meet the finalists who will eventually be given the boot a few months after the show ends. If you want to try to find love on a reality show that has proven to be unsuccessful in the marriage department, be our guest — but the fact that a child is involved makes us feel a little uneasy.
The good news is this now frees up Jeremy and Graham for our very own Mollygood bachelor competition.
