Anne Pressley, a Little Rock, Arkansas TV reporter who recently had a small part as Ann Coulter in Oliver Stone's mocking film W, was found in her home brutally beaten and stabbed yesterday. She's now in critical condition in an Arkansas hospital.
Coulter continues to run free, certainly guilty of this and many other heinous crimes.
The world is not fair.

We finally get a sneak peek of Oliver Stone’s W, the G.W. Bush biopic that has been in the news lately due to the Louisiana arrest of stars Josh Brolin and Jeffrey Wright, now that the first trailer has hit YouTube. All I have to say is this: Bush lovers, the few that are left, of course, are going to hate this. Oh, and I didn’t believe it was possible to make Thandie Newton look like Condi Rice.

Josh Brolin and Jeffrey Wright, who are currently filming Oliver Stone's W, were arrested with four others involved with the film after cops were called to a Shreveport, Louisiana bar to deal with a rowdy patron. That patron was Brolin.
DREYFUSS DOES DICK: "…The last major bit of casting on Oliver Stone's W. is close to a done deal…Richard Dreyfuss will play elusive veep Dick Cheney… There wasn't any question that Stone was going for the president's jugular with this biopic, but Dreyfuss adds a bubbly new layer of vitriolic spittle."
Here's the first picture to surface of Josh Brolin and Elizabeth Banks as George W and Laura Bush in W.
Nice resemblance; too bad the Oliver Stone film's script seems to have been written by a Freshman English major with a chip on his shoulder.
A HARMONIOUS FAREWELL "Oscar-winning actor Charlton Heston has been cremated at a funeral in Los Angeles attended by about 300 people, including many Hollywood celebrities. The service was held at a church where Heston worshipped regularly, and stars such as Arnold Schwarzenegger and Tom Selleck were among the well-wishers. … Hollywood figures including Olivia DeHavilland, Pat Boone, Oliver Stone and Rob Reiner were also at Saturday's service, which lasted for almost two hours."

The Oliver Stone-helmed George W Bush movie had so much promise. Done correctly, it would be scathing, timely, brash and important, all the things that made Wall Street good and Platoon great. But we've just read part of the script and "wind from our sails" is an understatement—the ship has sunk. W is going to be paranoia-drenched hokum; Bush biographers are already saying it "really misses the mark." Leave it up to liberals to ruin a sure thing.

A request by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to lay a wreath at Ground Zero has been denied "on security grounds" by the New York City police. This pointed rejection has repercussions for American filmmaker Oliver Stone, who plans to make a documentary about the head of state: Ahmadinejad is now insisting that Stone come to Iran to interview him, and soon.
On Wednesday, Ahmadinejad's arts adviser said Stone should come to correct the"image of Iranian culture which is in contradiction of current realities."
Ahmadinejad, who will arrive in New York Sunday to address the United Nations, says that he is shocked by the refusal, especially considering 9/11 was a hoax, just like the Holocaust.
