Someone here has gathered a wide collection of photographer Martin Schoeller's famous closeup portraits of celebrities. Bunched together, it's easier for one to see what a bad idea they all are. If nothing else, the pictures proclaim, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, especially if the beholder is several feet away."

Is this the perfect candidate? And is it odd that we find her him it slightly beautiful?

Lost hobbit Dominic Monaghan is exhibiting some of his photography at a gallery in West Hollywood. The concept was to recreate famous scenes from Alfred Hitchcock films and some of the resultant shots are beautiful. Finally, an idea good enough that it makes Annie Leibovitz and her dozen assistants seem interesting.
Photographs that professional dude Riley Giles took of ex-girlfriend Lindsay Lohan recently sold to a photo agency for a "low five-figure sum." Because people who rate celebrities do so by checking into how much money pictures of them are worth to people, this is bad news for Lohan's career. If hardly anyone is willing to part with good money to look at three or four pictures of the "troubled starlet," absolutely nobody is going to pay millions to see thousands of pictures of her shown in quick succession (that's how movies work!).
