It was a busy weekend in the life of Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson. The inseparable duo gallivanted around Paris, taking in the sights, enjoying the nightlife and being pelted by PETA-approved flour bombs. As you do.
Evidently some crazed French animal rights activist got all up in arms over a fur stole that Lindsay was sporting at a Paris nightclub, so she threw a bag of flour at the "actress" before running off down the sidewalk, Napoleon Dynamite-style. (You can watch the video here.)
Not to worry, though: Sam retaliated in the most effective way possible, by blogging about the incident on MySpace. Full rant after the jump. CONTINUED »
Starting at Sunset Junction in Silver Lake at 6 p.m. and arriving eight and a half hours later in West Hollywood at around 2:30 a.m., the Los Angeles Prop 8. protest ended early Sunday with a sit-in in the middle of the street. Throughout the night, groups would join the protest as it made its way through Hollywood and environs. While passing through the Sunset Strip, the rally picked up everyone's favorite angel, Drew Barrymore — and paparazzi — who marched with the approximately 3,000 swing shift protesters. As the exhausted but defiant crowd occupied the intersection of San Vicente and Santa Monica, Drew took to the microphone, tearfully telling the assembled crowd, "I will fight with you!"
BLIND PROTEST 'BLINDNESS' "Blind people quarantined in a mental asylum, attacking each other, soiling themselves, trading sex for food. For Marc Maurer, who's blind, such a scenario _ as shown in the movie 'Blindness' _ is not a clever allegory for a breakdown in society. Instead, it's an offensive and chilling depiction that Maurer fears could undermine efforts to integrate blind people into the mainstream. 'The movie portrays blind people as monsters, and I believe it to be a lie,' said Maurer, president of the Baltimore-based National Federation of the Blind. 'Blindness doesn't turn decent people into monsters.'"

Katie Holmes' Broadway debut in All My Sons last night was not without incident. No, Tom didn't beat a man bloody with his small but lightning-fast balled fists. As has become the norm at any event attended by noteworthy Scientologists, 'twas those funny, funny, funny Anonymous weirdos keeping it interesting:
About 30 protesters lined up at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre and chanted “Scientology kills!”
Some wore masks like in the movie “V for Vendetta,” and one poster read: “FREE KATIE.”
IMBECILES PROTEST CHARACTERS USING MEAN WORD "Several dozen disability advocates converged in front of Monday night's Westwood premiere of 'Tropic Thunder' to protest the comedic use of the word retard. Chanting 'Ban the movie, ban the word,' marchers carried signs with such slogans as 'R-word = hate speech' and passed out flyers urging a boycott of the comedy. The DreamWorks film, which features Ben Stiller playing an actor best known for his role as a mentally challenged man in the ficticious drama 'Simple Jack,' has garnered a wave of criticism in recent weeks culminating with Monday's protest." Ban the word? Smells like fascism! Quick, everyone fire your commie friends' copies of Huckleberry Finn and To Kill a Mockingbird.
