Angry Men

dognewpic

Dog the Bounty Hunter, fan of Hawaiian sunsets, capturing human beings and using the word nigger as often as possible, is returning to television next month. Cable network A&E will begin airing reruns of Dog's show on June 25 and new episodes a few weeks after that.

"It's not about ratings," said a liar from A&E, totally lying. "We know his heart. We know him and know he's not a racist."

Dog the Not-Bigot is just glad to be back doing what he loves: stalking and arresting destitute brown men for the enjoyment of people watching television.

This American Life

barackobamacurious

As Barack Obama gets closer and closer to locking up the Democratic nomination, the hootin' and hollerin' about him being a buh-lack Muzzlin is gaining volume.

The t-shirt at right is for sale in a bar in Cobb County, Georgia; in Indiana, one Obama campaigner was told by a citizen: "Hang that darky from a tree!"; and it is widely accepted that part of the reason Obama was defeated by such a huge margin in yesterday's West Virgina primary is because of the color of his skin. This from an article about West Virginia Clinton supporters:

"I'm going to write in Hillary on the ballot [if Obama gets the nomination]," Jester said outside the IHOP, crushing her half-smoked cigarette. "I want to see a woman in there before I see a . . . " She stopped, and her sister finished the sentence with: "a man of color."

And these are the Democrats!

There goes our Alicia Keys crush:

… KEYS has bizarrely claimed the US government invented ‘gangsta rap’ to convince black people to kill each other.

Keys, 27, said the violent hip-hop style was an anti-black conspiracy. The American, who has sold 25 million albums worldwide, believes the government encouraged the 1990s murders of rappers TUPAC SHAKUR and NOTORIOUS B.I.G.

She told a magazine: “The murders were fuelled to stop a great black leader from existing.”

Or Do They Simply Have The Attention Span Of A 4-Year-Old?

us-cover11.jpg

Despite all the media hoopla surrounding Beyonce and Jay-Z's wedding last Friday, the couple only appeared on the cover of one tabloid (Us Weekly). Naturally, the celebrity media are being labeled as "racist" because some assume "African-Americans don't sell covers."

Except Janet Jackson was on the cover of two of Us' best-selling issues. That kind of nips the whole controversy in the bud, no?

Here's why B and Jay only landed on one cover: Because there was nothing to report that celebrity blogs hadn't already covered. It was old news, and the couple remained so tight-lipped about the entire event that the mags had better things to investigate, like whether Britney is suffering a relapse.

Case closed.

Bad Ideas

fozzie

Because it's what they do, the New York Post has compiled a list of the 50 best (their word) jokes of the last 12 months, a feat that accomplishes little more than to confirm everyone's assumptions: the Post can never be intentionally funny.

Of the greatest 50 quips in the world today, at least 40 are completely humorless and hackneyed, two or three are not jokes at all and seven mock either African Americans or women (four for the ladies and three for the blacks). All in all, we think the whole exercise was just the Post endorsing Obama in the only way it knows how.

"Jokes" are after the jump.

New information on the recent arrest of Naomi Campbell at Heathrow airport and her subsequent excommunication from all British Airways flights. According to the Sun, as she was being dragged away in cuffs, the maniacal fashion model began calling her arresting officers "fucking white honkeys." She then berated a particular policewoman so badly — calling her things like "white slag" — that the officer has since taken leave. Campbell's spokeswoman said she can't imagine her notoriously violent, malicious client saying anything of the sort. Campbell herself is quoted as saying: "It just goes to show I have to fight for who I am. It’s because I’m black."

Brandon Davis, the guy who's famous for looking greasy and calling Lindsay Lohan a firecrotch, showed off more of that winning personality last night in LA. Click through and watch with pride as he calls one pap the N-word and another the F-word. Is it any wonder he and his equally disgusting brother are famous among Hollywood circles?

Weezing the Mollygood

mghiphopsite

Remember that Pauly Shore racism thing from a couple weeks ago? According to a new video, that was just a publicity stunt for some shitty DVD that, apparently like Shore himself, is not at all racist. In fact, black comedian Katt Williams says Pauly is "funnier than any nigger he knows," which is racist, no matter what anyone tells you about how they can say it.

Fear not, hatemongers. The DVD the racism bunco was promoting is not completely void of bigotry. In one scene in which Shore is depicted as hardy Fox news correspondent Greta Van Susteren, he growls, "I'm a dirty, dirty dyke." Um, hilarious?

But who cares about all that: Pauly fucking Shore reads Mollygood! Well, maybe not reads, but at least he cites us when showing all the blogs he "got." Also fantastic: he calls us a "hip-hop site"! Stereohyped is shown, too. Yay!

Pauly, if you're reading this, build a time machine, go back to the Encino Man days and then never stop being Stoney the Weasel. Everyone will be happier.

Click through for the video.

Gisele Plays Helpless Lady Liberty

voguelebronmadbrute

Here’s a World War I enlistment poster (via) from 1917, famous from its era, that encouraged men to sign up with the army to fight the German enemy. (Interestingly, the Germans found it so convincing, they Nazis used the same concept for their own World War II poster.)

It’s hard to imagine Wintour or Leibovitz, or their staffs, in all their years studying photos and imagery, never came across this poster, or understood its racial ramifications with the ape carrying the helpless Lady Liberty.

Weezing the Prejudice

paulydeadnew

Party boy and occasional comedian Pauly Shore is taking a cue from bitter hatemongers and blaming his anemic career on his skin color (or lack thereof). "I need to be black," Shore recently told an interviewer, "because if I was black, I’d be doing good." Well, Pauly. You'd be doing well. And no, you wouldn't.

Shore continued: "White people are screwed. Especially in my industry, they’re screwed. White people are going to be picking cotton within, like, literally within three years." Brilliant! How is this guy not getting hired?

False Alarm

Here's the trailer for Tropic Thunder, the upcoming comedy starring Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Nick Nolte and Robert Downey Jr, who, as you can see, is featured in blackface.

We've been worrying for a couple weeks that the blackface element might ruin a perfectly bad movie, but – and we're loath to admit this – we kinda, sorta don't mind it anymore. We even giggled at the line, "Man, just because it's a theme song don't make it not true."

Crisis: what to hate on now? Where's our steadfast indignation? How about we get disgusted about a war comedy during actual wartime? Yeah, that's the ticket. War isn't funny.

Great Orators of the 21st Century

obamaspeechnewrace

I can no more disown him than I can disown the black community. I can no more disown him than I can my white grandmother – a woman who helped raise me, a woman who sacrificed again and again for me, a woman who loves me as much as she loves anything in this world, but a woman who once confessed her fear of black men who passed by her on the street, and who on more than one occasion has uttered racial or ethnic stereotypes that made me cringe. These people are a part of me. And they are a part of America, this country that I love.

-Barack Obama on his pastor, Reverend Jeremiah Wright, whose fiery sermons about white America have started to reflect poorly on the candidate

It's Getting Ugly

obamadarkened

Oh, politics! White Senator Hillary Clinton's people are today scoffing at a claim they darkened black Senator Barack Obama's skin tone in a new attack ad. The image on the left shows Obama in last week's Ohio debate, while the image on the right is a screen grab from the Clinton ad. Hmm.

"You are playing with complicated technological mediums here," Clinton campaign spokesman Jay Carson told the New York Post. "Coloration in every single screen shot looks different…It looks different in every single place."

Oddly, Carson later stated that the darker image of Obama wasn't even taken from a Clinton ad: "We don’t know what is up there, but it is not our ad." That, of course, is a total fucking lie, which you can see for yourself on Clinton's Web site.

We're having flashbacks to 1994.

What Rhymes With 'Racist'?

wenn9393022.jpg

Laguna Beach alum Jason Wahler, best known for being Lauren Conrad's loser ex-boyfriend, is also gaining a reputation for being a racist.

First things first: Jason went to rehab last year for his drug and alcohol addictions — and for sharing some of his favorite racist terms with a police officer.

Also good for Jason: After he left rehab, he immediately proposed to his college student girlfriend. This is obviously a new step in the program.

Now comes news that Wahler has been banned from his fiance's apartment building.

The ban is the result of Wahler's use of racial slurs against a security guard on February 10 at Conquest's Tuscany. 'He called him the N word,' a source tells Us [Weekly].

A Conquest rep adds, 'Jason Wahler's racist remarks were uncalled for. He is no longer welcome in the building.'

Jason is saying none of this ever happened. Um, why else would the apartment building ban you? Wait … don't answer that.

British woman Jourdan Dunn has become the first black model to take to the catwalk for Prada since the beginning of the 21st century. It's a major step for dark girls around the world who hope to one day be evaluated on the shape of their faces and bodies, not the color of their faces and bodies.
