FRIENDS IN LOWE PLACES "Two current employees of Rob Lowe have placed themselves firmly in the Lowes' corner, claiming they never witnessed any of the inappropriate behavior alleged by the family's former nanny [Jessica Gibson]. Carol Andrade, the Lowes' estate manager, says she lives in a guest house on their property and never witnessed anything untoward — either directed at her or any member of the staff she supervises. She also says Gibson never complained once about any wrongdoing. Jennifer Dynof, president of Lowe Profile (a company owned by Rob Lowe), says he's worked with Lowe for four years and she too has never witnessed any inappropriate behavior by either Sheryl or Rob."
Jessica Gibson, the nanny Rob Lowe is accusing of extortion, returned fire on the Today show this morning, claiming that Lowe sexually harassed her. She won't get into specifics, which is unsatisfying but understandable.
Most of the talking was done by Gibson's lawyer, Gloria Allred, who kept her hand in Gibson's lap throughout most of the interview, leading us to believe that Lowe must have touched the nanny very, very, very inappropriately to warrant a lawsuit.
Video after the jump.

As you may know, Rob Lowe, seen here ready to pounce, is in the middle of some sexy litigation. The Wayne's World star is suing a former nanny, claiming that she tried to extort $1.5 million from him by threatening a sexual harassment allegation. Lowe is now suing her for $1 million. Oddly, when police offered to investigate Lowe's charge of heinous extortion, he refused their services. And that's just the beginning of his cagey behavior.
In the past, the only times I've found myself agreeing with FOX News is when they run retractions and apologize, but today, upon the release of Paris Hilton, FOX correspondent Jonathan Hunt made one of the first keen observations I've ever seen on the channel. Of the Hiltons, Hunt said plainly, "Perhaps [there should be] some soul searching among the parents, who might want to question their parenting skills over the last 26 years." Hunt is right. But apparently this astute criticism rubbed TMZ the wrong way, as they're calling it a "cheap shot" and asking why Hunt is "talking out of his ass." Well, perhaps it's just me, but I think the "cheap shot" might be TMZ headlining their story about Paris Hilton being released from prison with the eternally famous sentence "Free at Last!" thereby comparing Hilton's incarceration with the plight of black Americans in the early 20th century. But maybe I'm just talking out of my ass.

This guy got so insignificant after his ill-planned exit from The West Wing that the e-mail to which this was attached read "Ron Lowe exclusive on Rodeo Drive June 4." Ouch! The "What's all the fuss about?" face on the bald Eastern European in the background sums it up pretty nicely.

After surely being emboldened by his ex's miserable failure at the box office, Chad Lowe's gotten out there and found himself a rebound.
Chad Lowe is seeing producer Kim Painter, his rep confirms.
"They are dating," Lowe's publicist, Cindy Guagenti, tells PEOPLE. Lowe, 39, split last year from wife Hilary Swank.
Lowe, 39, and Painter were spotted together at the Nov. 15 L.A. premiere of Carrie Fisher's one-woman show, Wishful Drinking, which Painter co-produced…
…And after the Golden Globes, they chatted and smooched at the InStyle/Warner Bros. party, and later, while waiting at the valet stand, Lowe introduced Painter to friends including Emilio Estevez, Seal and Heidi Klum. Painter grumbled about the cold and Lowe gave her a snuggle to keep her warm.
People goes on to report that Chad's career is on the upswing, too, as he's going to be premiering on 24 later this month.
Now that he's out and about again, Chad has given his "What In the Hell Happened to My Career?" hermit kit—which includes bourbon, cigarettes, sleeping pills and a track suit— to his brother, Rob.
