Tyra Banks and some of her top models attempted to show off how to smile with your eyes at the CW Network 2008 Upfronts last night in NYC. It's safe to say Tyra is still the only one who has mastered that concept, but we applaud Anya (second from right) for making a solid attempt. The rest seem to have just given up hope.

It's Fashion Week in New York and the living is dreary. PR people, models, terrible parties and unwearable clothes have been falling on the city in larger quantities than the rain, which has also been unyielding. Nevertheless, 'tis my job to occasionally doff the melancholy, put on a clean shirt and brave the fray, and I did so last night.

A young, black sprite named Saleisha has won the ninth cycle of America's Next Top Model, the slingshot to mediocrity created by Tyra Banks. With that out of the way, she can get back to her old life of being a professional model and walking in runway shows on America's Next Top Model.
