You would think that nobody wants to take credit for Britney Spears' infamous breakdown, but Courtney Love defies all expectations. The former(?) train wreck opened up to January's Elle UK about what a trailblazer she is for today's crazy stars:

Britney Spears has been wisely testing the waters all weekend by performing overseas before bringing her lip-syncing show back to America. On Thursday she performed at a German awards show before hitting up a French talent competition on Friday and the UK's X Factor on Saturday (clip above). When asked to give advice to the X Factor contestants, Brit wisely suggested, "Just keep doing it." Here's an idea: Let's not ask Britney Spears for advice. She still has a long way to go. Her "Womanizer" performance is leaps and bounds better than the VMA disaster of '07, but it's nothing to write home about.

Sean Connery's new autobiography, Being a Scot, was released today in the UK. The book finds the first and most famous Bond musing on "many aspects of Scottish culture and life, including sport, architecture, and of course the gothic tendency in Scots literature," while also offering enlightening anecdotes from his 78 years as a Scotsman. No word yet on whether Connery has used any part of Being a Scot to discuss under what circumstances a man can smack his lippy wife. In case he hasn't, we've got a brief video lesson after the jump.
