No? OK

Britney Spears' new Web site has followed through on its promise to take fans behind the scenes, this time offering a peek into Brit's workout routine. It's about as riveting as watching paint dry. Enjoy!

SELF-LOATHING ADDICT'S FAME ENDURES "Candid footage of Marilyn Monroe on the set of her last completed film brought in $60,000 at an auction of movie memorabilia Saturday. The two reels of silent, 8-millimeter color film shot on the set of 'The Misfits' had been expected to draw starting bids of between $10,000 and $20,000."

Businessmen's Wet Dreams

24screen

Assuming that the average person has about 16 waking hours per day, researchers predict that in five years, almost a third of that time will be spent looking at video screens:

Consumption of video content is expected to rise 25% to five hours per day by 2013, compared with the four hours now watched in 2008, according to Forrester Research. The firm suggests the increase will be driven by consumers watching programming of all grades via computers, mobile phones, portable media players and even digital photo frames.

Yep, whereas we once had, "The revolution will not be televised," we're now stuck with, "The television will be revolutionized." What a great leap forward, huh? Excuse me for a second: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

HOW EXACTLY IS THIS A SCANDAL? "The potential release of a tape showing [Angelina] Jolie snorting and smoking heroin may do some serious damage to the soon-to-be mother of six's new reputation as a much hotter version of Mother Teresa. While Jolie has openly admitted to using all kinds of drugs in her past, her alleged comments and behavior shown on the tape in question may overshadow all those Yes I've Done Drugs But Drugs Are Bad comments she's made, since the key part of the tape is Angelina doing heroin. She says, 'Wow, this is really good smack - not that cheap crap that's been stepped on.'"

Just Because

Keeping in line with blogger stereotypes, here is an adorable video of little kittens (my favorite is on the far right) bobbing their precious heads along to the beat of a song. You're welcome.

This is the new video for Beyonce and Shakira's collaborative effort, "Beautiful Liar." I'm pretty sure it's bad. What happened to production quality? Yesterday we have this half-assed concoction of bravado and apathy, and today we get silk curtains and modern dance on a darkened soundstage?

In my opinion, the "Beautiful Liar" director borrowed heavily from this, which was done better and was fresher at the time.

All that said, Shakira and Beyonce's hips really aren't lying in this video. It's creepy how similar they look and wiggle. It makes you confused over who you want to kiss.

PS To the right is Beyonce at TRL in a necklace that says "Upgrade."

Here's the highly anticipated Justin Timberlake video for "What Goes Around Comes Around." The one that started all the smooching with Scarlett. It's nine and a half minutes long and includes fire twirlers, a surprisingly loose use of "fuck" and a scene of Justing screaming, "Wake up goddammit!" as he clutches a lifeless Scarlett. So, clearly, really epic and moving.

Dear god, did you miss this weekend's Saturday Night Live because you had something really important to do, like lick popsicles or watch your little sister nearly suffer a concussion because she thought tobaggoning down your driveway into traffic would be an A+ idea? Most weekends, that's always the case — there's something better to do, see, touch, or lick than waste 90 minutes on a tired variety show.

All of which remains true — except for this weekend's SNL, where [insert adjective synonymous with "makes me tingle" here] Jake Gyllenhaal performed an opening monologue for the Brokeback Mountain crowd. Oh, and millions of teen girls, too.

It's like I've been running my whole life without the proper footwear. Until I found you…you're my…running shoes.

Mocking Zach Braff–so easy, so fun.

Check out Mary-Kate Olsen's debut (other than her kid flicks and that other one about New York) in the upcoming movie, Factory Girl. In case you have trouble finding her, there's a still to the side showing you where to look. This is her whole part in the movie. Nope, not joking. I mean, I heard her role was small…but you'd think she has enough money not to take a gig as an extra.

Gwen Stefani is really running this Black/White/Gold thing into the ground, but it's kind of awesome in this, the video for her new single "The Sweet Escape" (feat. Akon). Also, if her releasing a new song means fewer times that we'll have to hear "Wind ItUp," I think we all win.

I Got My Ass Kicked By Someone In Fall Out Boy…

Add to My Profile | More Videos
If I tried to explain the yell-y clusterfuck that happens in this video of Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy trying to kick some dude's ass during a show this weekend, I would fail. I've tried and it still makes sense. I do know, however, that this video is pretty awesome. I'll let the cinematographer himself describe what's going on:

"That's what you get when you fuck with my friends…fuckin' asshole." quote unquote Pete Wentz, bass player for Fall Out Boy. January 7th 2007, Fall Out Boy brought the Friends Or Enimies tour into the Sunshine Theater in Albuquerque, NM along with New Found Glory, The Early November, and Permanent Me. At the end of their set during 'Saturday', they started letting people onstage. Security didn't want anymore ppl on stage. A roadie (and comrade) of FOB's was still letting ppl on. That must have pissed off a certain securty guard enough to attack the roadie and bring him offstage and grapple with him. Pete took offense and dropped the mic, jumped offstage and started beating the shit outta that security guard. After the pummel, Pete got back onsatge, grabbed the mic and stated, "That's what you get when you fuck with my friends…fuckin' asshole!" then the band left…but what's even better is…I'VE GOT IT ALL ON VIDEO.

Have I ever mentioned how much I love the spread of online video? Because I love the shit out of it.

That Joel Madden, such a joker. He and new girlfriend Nicole Richie took a little post-New Years vacation to Cabo this weekend to frolic on the beach, and here's some long distance video of their fun. Something about these two is a little bit adorable to me. Probably because she's so damn punk rock (you know, like him, what with all the tattoos).

So this dude is saying that while on family vacation with his kids in Orlando the Tigger character punched his son in the face. Here is the video to back up his claim. Um, I call bullshit. It just looks like a mistake on the part of Tigger, but perhaps I'm not sensitive enough to the adverse side-hug reaction.

This morning's "Dick in a Box" response video, "Box in a Box" received mixed reviews from you folks. So try this one on for size: "Tits in a Box." Methinks you'll like this one better? Who knows.

Over the weekend, Britney Spears was spotted rocking out in her convertible to some new tunes. Someone decided this is for sure a demo for her upcoming CD, but there's really no conclusive evidence as far as I can tell. In the event that it is, though, check out this really vague look at next Summer's over-produced and completely manufactured pop hit! Wheee.
