Regis Philbin has announced that he will be transitioning to three-day work weeks next year, relinquishing hosting duties on Live with Regis & Kelly to guests Thursdays and Fridays.

Huge fans of Regis that we are, our heart sank at this news. Also: Is this a subtle indication of failing health?

The man is like 110 years old. He needs some extra time for naps.

…more like a subtle indication that Kelly is a blood sucking attention whore leech. Can they get any orangeier? Yea, that’s a word orangier rhymes with really really tan.

He’s the new Bob Barker. Not alive anymore, just stuffed and held up with a very intricate system of strings and pulleys and motion sensored tape recordings. He’s also like those dolls from the 80s whose eyes would close when they were laying down and open when you sat them up…man those things were creepy…almost as creepy as Regis…

Big deal, he already only works 4. Whats one less. Why do these “stars” have to announce everything.

Cooter may get really wasted this weekend. Hear the rest of the story at 6.

I don’t watch the show but have always liked Regis. I’m sure he’s tired of that annoying Kelly Ripa bitch. I can’t stand her!

That reminds me, does Dick Clark do the new years eve thing still? That’s a great gig. Once a year. See Casey Casem was smart. If you don’t want to retire completely, be on the radio. He could probably phone it in if he wanted to.

I don’t think so. I remember when he had his stroke, Ryan Seacrest took over for him. I think he is going to be the one to take over for him once he is no longer able to do it. :-(
