MTV: Helping Girls develop body image problems since 1981

MTV has put out a casting call for their newest shockingly ill-conceived reality show, Model Makers, which will feature young girls being judged on how well they slim down in order to prove their love of the catwalk. So disturbing, but not anything new for reality television, which as of late actually seemed to be pulling back from the precarious brink of Milf Island:

OH MY EYES!!! MY EYES!!!
Cord, you've hurt me so many times today! Why do you hate me so?
That chick in the white pants is fat.
/seriously gross pic
How can anyone say that looks good? Ugh, pass the bread and butter, please.
I just love the new Auschwitz fall collection…I'm thrilled hot pants are back!
Wow. I think we should pool our money together & send them some fucking cupcakes. ick.
That is one nasty looking girl with low self-esteem. Of course, my nasty looking comment probably didn't help.
That's photoshop, right? I mean, it has to be. How would someone that size have the energy and sustenance to hold up her neck, let alone try to sashay her ass down a catwalk.
She does not look fierce. Sad, yes. Fierce, no.
please tell me that's photoshopped
isn't her shadow a little off?
skeletons barely even HAVE a shadow but somehow hers is a normal sized person.
What a whale! God woman, go on a diet!
I don't know if anyone watched the Olympics last night and caught woman's platform diving but the two Chinese divers were emaciated. The idiot announcer actually said "She chose diving because she doesn't like to eat." First, what a WONDERFUL sentiment to promote and second, who doesn't like to fucking eat?
The Dead Kennedys said it best I think.

Okay, that woman is really frighteningly thin. I hope it's a doctored photo, but I also hope that people start to wise up and not buy crap from designers who are actually using models like this in their shows. Ick.
Now I'm gonna go out on a limb and defend the MTV thing. My guess is that it's girls who would have a chance at being non plus-sized (you know, fatties in size 8) models, but who need to get themselves in shape. Like Yohanna (sic?) from America's Next Top Model, who was actually overweight once upon a pizza.
p.s. I love the name OMGNO. It's a keeper!
It looks like her vagina bone is showing. Do we even have vagina bones? My God it's late. I'm going to bed and hopefully don't dream of scary vagina bones.
Is that girl real? She looks fake…
I'm with keeblerkahn - m.t.v. is broke. go ahead and do us a favor and pull the plug on that station.
