'I'm Squishing Crushing Your Head'

kidsinthehallcopy

The Kids in the Hall sketch comedy troupe is back on tour after a six-year hiatus! Yes, their material is very, very hit or miss, but when it hits it’s hilarious. Check here to see if they’re coming to a city near you, then click through to delight in one of their best new sketches and one of their best from the past. The first one is NSFW, but it’s worth getting fired over.

Thank you Canada. Can SNL be cancelled once and for all now?

Hey Cord-

You got it wrong in the sub heading. Trust me, having been mildly obsessed with them since I was roughly 10, I should know.

Yay!!! I miss Dave. Is he on anything anymore? News Radio was the best until Phil Hartman died.

The last thing I remember seeing Dave Foley on, besides that godawful “Thank God You’re Here!” was on the unjustly maligned “Tom Goes to the Mayor.” And he was as brilliant as ever.

I saw them this past Sunday, and it was fantastic. New material was great and a nice peppering of beloved characters. Anyone else go? Because it takes two to gush.

You will *love* it. Still brilliant, if a bit more grey and paunchy. I will keep my mouth shut, but I will say it is a great mix of old and new!

Fuck! You lucky yanks! You’ve got a Kids in the Hall comeback and Eddie Izzard’s “Stripped” tour coming up. Fuck!

No. 12 Lisa (#1) says:

Don’t even talk to me about Stripped. Either I pay 35 bucks for a nosebleed seat, or $200 per seat to some fucking scalper, I mean authorized ticket resaler. I am boiling and can’t figure out what to do! Probs nosebleed.

Go nosebleed, you can watch the screen. Closest he’s coming to me is 4 hours away. I won’t make it. Do you watch “The Riches?”

No. 14 Lisa (#1) says:

I will end up getting the nosebleeds. Although I am thinking about getting a decent single seat and leaving the boy behind. I watched the first season, and have been avoiding this one. Why? Because it was torture waiting for a week. I have them saved on my dvr for my own marathon.
