officescene

So last night was the fourth season finale of The Office, one of my favorite television shows of all time, and it didn't disappoint. After the jump, a list of my favorite moments from the episode — and space for you to add your own.

Mose! Dwight's creepy cousin barely beats him out in the race for my favorite Office character, and the bit where he showed up to put a raccoon in the new HR rep's car was made of awesome.

Michael arriving at the office early to do some solo dancing and warm-up stretches in preparation for Toby's departure.

• Dwight hazing Holly, the new HR rep (Amy Ryan, I love you), by telling her that Kevin is "slow" and Kevin unknowingly playing along (i.e. accidentally trying to use a button to buy a snack from the vending machine).

Jim and Pam debating the quality of Michael's "Total Eclipse of the Fart" parody.

Creed desperately trying to figure out what it is he does when "confronted" by Holly.

• Michael to Jan: "You cheated on me? When I specifically asked you not to?"

Great episode, indeed. The exit interview was classic:
"Who do you think you are?"
    "…I'm Toby."
Poor Toby. And to ice his cake of sadness, Pam interviews that she always thought he was cute. I'm gonna miss him.

My fav part is when Michael says to Holly that she's the best thing that's happened to the office since World War II. :)

Oh and Dwight and Angela having sex when Phyllis walks in :)

The beginning when Jim forwards Dwight's cell to his earpiece was classic! AND when Phyllis is planning the party and asking about the anti-gravity machine.

OK sorry but Michael's face when he realizes Jan got pregnant WITHOUT cheating on him by going to a sperm bank while they were still dating, and then being interviewed saying, "I'm sorry but I had to make this one count!" ? Can a man get kicked in the balls harder than that??? Priceless.

Loved it. Oh man, I felt so bad when Pam was all "I thought he was going to propose." Fucking A! Poor Jim and Pam!

    Also loved:

Michael holding in a "that's what she said" joke on the ferris wheel.

The joy Jim got from calling Ryan saying Ryan's hands must be full.

Kelly talking about visiting Ryan in prison.

Pam, finally, having things work out re: her artist ambition.

Also, Kevin was a gem. I like pie.

Sorry for the 2nd post…here are some more that had me chuckling:
"I don’t want your foot money."

“I can see Andy proposing to Angela, I can also see him proposing to Oscar”

“I should go, I gotta buckle him in”

I loved the scenes with Holly and Kevin.
"this one's a button.." when they were standing in front of the vending machine!!

Poor Jim! His eyes were hilarious when Andy started proposing! Hopefully they won't separate Pam and Jim again.

Dwight pounding away at Angela in the office at the end. My husband and I both jumped up off the couch and high-fived. YES!

It wasn't the funniest (the whole episode was fucking hilarious) but it made me warm and fuzzy inside! I think I like that ending better than if Pam and Jim would've gotten engaged. That's pretty much a given.

Wait a minute! The best scene of all was the proposal! "I'd like to thank my parents for being here," "Would you do me the honor of letting me take your tiny hand… in marriage," "Ok. Say it into the mic, honey. I said OK! She said yes!!"

    Wow. Just, wow.

I loved that Dwight and Angela got together - they are so bizarre, but so cute! Loved the way everything ended - can't wait for next season!

I'm with Kate. The "Okay," "She said yes!" was classic. Poor Andy- now he'll have to wait a little longer before becoming Mr. Andrew Bernard.

Is Toby really leaving? I'll miss Michael hating him and using his divorce as one of the main reasons.

The whole Kevin situation was absolutely awesome.

Lisa, my husband said the whole "that's what she said" bit thinking that Michael was going to say it…and was sorely disappointed. LOL.
