There are already problems here in St. Louis. A Repub poller had to be replaced after insisting on two forms of I.D. before voting. Paper ballots are also short on supply (why, I don't know) because no one is using the touch screen ballot, which I love, because people are becoming wise to the dangers of those touch screens being manipulated. The lines are HUGE. This was even before the end of work day. A lot of people must have taken the day off to vote. I was lucky. I live in a small suburb. I took the day off and voted at 10 a.m. No line.

Having a little (O.K., big) Hurricane right now. There have also been reports of "voter manipulation", but the news channel won't get into it.

After 2000 and 2004, I admit I am a pessimist about election results and always get stuck on the worst case scenarios…But I have faith in Americans finally acting out of hope instead of fear.

Can I just say, if McCain wins, please, PLEASE protest en masse. I'm so worried that crooked pollsters and broken vote machines are going to turn this thing on its head. And I refuse to believe that another 4 years can be bought on lies.

I wrote in Ron Paul and it felt splendiferous! I stuck to my principles and even though I know my vote doesn't matter, I still participated in this so called democracy and got my sticker.
