Just Like the Real World

spit

Is everyone hip to the racist cesspool the once interesting Real World has become?

Cast member Trisha from the latest Sydney season was just excommunicated after shoving and slapping her darkest roommate, Parisa. Trisha then said that her family's religion (Christianity) was better than Parisa's family's religion (Islam). That was followed by her screaming to Parisa, "Go work out!"

After Trisha dropped the Christian beat-down (her Shock and Awe, if you will), Parisa asked that the Real World executives remove her. Trisha was pissed!

Before finally exiting the house and going back to Fresno – home of the Federlines – Trisha left Parisa with this: "You're nothing."

Now that Trisha is gone, other white roommates have taken to SPITTING on the windows through which they see Parisa. THIS IS 2007!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Granted, Parisa's a self important bore who alienates herself from the rest of the house, but at least…well, at least she's not Trisha, Kelly Ann or Ashli (don't even get me started on that "I". Ugh).

Trisha was just a vapid twit and most girls don't have such a HUGE problem with another girl unless they are jealous of them. It also was irksome that she kept saying what a Christian she was while acting like a snobbish tw*t and calling Parissa fat, which she isn't and isn't a credible reason to have a problem with someone in the first place.

Trisha was the nastiest excuse for someone claiming they are Christian. Kellyanne and Ashli look and act so similar, I was wondering if they were seperated at birth.
Poor casting all around by MTV.
The only person who is remotely interesting is Parisa!

I'm so glad you posted it. From the first episode, I knew the homogenous casting of this show would be a detriment and a bore to audiences. Parisa's alienation is definitely representative of non-whites being unnecessarily marginalized.

MTV, if it really bills itself on being the channel of youth culture, should try reflecting diversity and tolerance in its casting because we all know this would be never cast the other way around, with just one white roommate.

Oh, no! MTV would never do that because we've seen what would happen ala Dave Chappelle's skit with cast of 6 blacks and 1 white on the Real World…too funny if you haven't seen it.

Parisa has had it coming for a while. I didn't care for Trisha, but she was pretty transparent. Parisa on the other hand from day one pissed of one person after the other in the house. None of them care for her. So, I don't see how Parisa has the attitude that everyone is picking on her and being mean. Her passive aggressive antaganostic personality is what has alienated her from the others. I cannot stand the girl. I will say this, year after year MTV continues to lower their standards with regard to casting for their shows. Chavvon was a crazy abusive bitch that couldn't control her alcohol…she needed to leave. The other two girls their are very young and very loose for their age. You have one guy that has acid flashbacks and sees birds. WTF? For once, would just like to see some normal people. I know they do exist. Probably wouldn't be as entertaining but enough with the dysfunction.

I hope she learned something from watching this show, b/c she obviously had a hateful heart leaving that show and appeared to have learned nothing. Parisa was so right when she said that trisha was as narrow-minded and shallow as she was when she came into the house. So ugly!!!!!! Parisa is a beautiful soul, inside and out.

i think before people want to talk trash about other religions, they need to learn about it and know what they're talking about. I can guarantee that Sydney had at least one church in it, why didn't Trisha go to it, if she's so faithful? What excuse does she have for talking down another religion? Trisha, learn the Golden rule - treat people the way you want to be treated.

Girls like this are ridiculous. but you know what, Judgement day is coming. and i can guarantee Parisa has nothing to worry about and Trisha has everything to worry about.

Class, class, class, blah, blah, blah, me, me, me. This religion or that one WHO GIVES A F____!
I'd be damed if I ever walked into a room or house did not not extend a hand and introduce myself.
1). Did Parisa introduce herself??? NO!

What is the first thing she says "Cookie cutter girls". (or something like that right)

Hey, I am not white, but that is f__d up…All of a sudden somebody is UNREAL, or FAKE because they wear makeup, dress in a certain manner?.

Then she later on says ….
2). "I do not want to baby sit"

By saying this she is trying to place herself among the other girls as "The one that is older, so therefore the smarter one…"
    This shows that
A). She has an underlying need to feel mature and therefore mentally legitimate. She must be around an environment where she is constantly made to feel unRipe, or how she we say it, illegitimate in an adult environment.
She has been raised to say
"Good people look like this, act like this, talk like this……………………………….."

3). "I already feel like a big sister" or "I am already used to being one by default"
These might not be her words exactly but the point of her statement all revolves around DECLARING HERSELF the best boxer because her shorts do not smell like sweat, or her shoes are clean. 4 + 5 = 12. How? Let me show you.
I). At the bar, Parisa leaves early.
By Doing this, she is trying to show SOMEBODY( who, I will tell you later) that she has the ability to steer clear of vices, or what she might consider immaturity???????????
WHAT HAPPENED WHEN SHE HAD SOME WINE??????????? HA, HA, HA, YUP!
WHAT HAPPENED WHEN SHE WAS OFFERED MORE WINE? Conflict of emotions.

    Another significant occurrence….
4). When Trisha was on the computer waiting for an email..she (Parisa), along the lines, says
……"Trisha should be considerate"…….Trisha says "I do not read minds"……….
This is a perfect example of living where there are rigid expectations. There is a Person , the one
putting on the constant pressure, and the one receiving it…….For Example, a scenario (not on MTV)………..
"You stupid dummy, what is wrong with you? Why did you put the new phone next to that lamp?
It doesn't look good!"……………when the one receiving the pressure doesn't do something
exactly how the one pressuring wanted, even though the one giving the pressure did not convey, they are labeled STUPID,
or DUMB. This in turn causes them to be insecure in making other decisions and starts to make them
MANIC about doing THE RIGHT THING, after many years of this, they are not only thinking twice but 20 times before
    they do something!

See the truth is, because of personal experience, Parisa, and all the girls like her,
(who when they are with there friends at the club resemble a field trip to the ZOO..they
hold hands as they walk through the club )
have dealt with so much pressure their whole life to CONFORM and radiate to a certain image
and yet witnessed another one (an American culturally liberal ( as in free from many cultural norms)) that they
really never gain a solid self esteem.

PARISA has come to have a love hate relationship with people who
DO WHAT THEY WANT WITHOUT THINKING TWICE OR FEELING GUILTY, ESPECIALLY WOMEN.
    She is like Humpty Dumpty…sitting on a wall, teetering towards breaking, which represents the FREEDOM from CONFORMING, this is where she can EXHALE;
YET IT IS THE UNKNOWN because therein lies unapproval from many people in her life. WHO?

Parisa is obsessed with thinking about what is right and what is wrong! 24/7 …It runs in her head like
    a hamster on a wheel.

If you do not understand any of this, please read; "Their Eyes Were Watching God" ,
    "One Hundred Years of Solitude"
These are great beginning novels to hear the voices of such people, before diving into more Academic stuff.

Trisha is just the typical "Pretty leader of the Pack". You can really tell she is used to getting her way because of her looks.
Other than that I did not see any vindictive planning on her side, other than really trying to
find an excuse to "take a break" from her boy friend. Would you like to hear more on Trisha?
