No, none of my friends went to rehab three times, wrecked a car while drunk and got two DUI's and two narcotics possession charges before the age of 22. I run with puritans, though.

I've had friends do *some* of that stuff, and a good friend tells them they're fucking up, they don't overlook it and say "you're going through normal adolescence and growing pains."

While what Lohan's behavior obviously isn't cool, I think some of what Dave's saying is right - I know so many normal adults who used to drink like crazy, do coke and perhaps occasionally crash their cars (who hasn't done that sober?), not to mention what I see from the people I go to school with. But Kitchy is right in that if you are in as deep as Lindsay is, you should have people guiding you away from that lifestyle, not constantly pushing you back into it.
Well Dave, please tell this to the friends & families of the BILLIONS of people that have been affected by a loved ones death due to drug/alcohol addiction.

I would agree with Dave that young people do experiment but I also wouldn't blow it off like it's no big deal.
