Doesn't this mean that crime pays? This woman attacked people while blinded by rage, and she get endorsement deals because of it? Though I guess she is the perfect person to sell donuts; both she and the product are empty in the core.

I thought the same thing. Shouldn't we, oh I don't know, shun her, or banish her to wander the wilderness alone? Development deals seems rather indulgent.
