Emmy Enablers
On yesterday’s episode of The Tyra Banks Show — titled “How Freaky Are We?” — some crazy guy asked a slew of audience members to stand on him. This went on for a good five minutes before Tyra moved on to other important subjects, such as a woman who wears diapers, pees in them and then has her boyfriend change her.
Just a reminder: This show is nominated for an Emmy.

And why should we believe that the television people who award Emmies are any better than the television people who receive Emmies?
Yeah, she’s the next Oprah.
Next thing you know, she’s going to talk these people into moving into a compound. They’ll be her own little Tyra Militia.
Oh, so she’s building a bridge between Oprah and Maury. Sadly, in our culture, I can see that working waaaaaay too well.
True story. My ex-boyfriend wanted me to put him in diapers and change them. He had this whole wannabe baby thing going on. Pacifiers, diapers, bibs… the whole nine yards. It maxed out my ‘holy-shit-thats-fucked-up’ meter and we broke up. Of course, by that time in our 3 year relationship, he was incapable of getting an erection without a spanking, so I really should have seen it coming.
I once watched a British documentary on sexual proclivities and paraphilias, and it featured a man who paid prostitutes to jump on his scrotum while wearing stiletto heels. Since then nothing has surprised me.
