Talk Shows
Is your town big enough to get basic cable but small enough to alienate all the funny, flamboyant gays who would have made great friends had they not left for the coasts years ago? Well today's your lucky day, hayseed:
In a rare move for a cable network, Lifetime is looking to launch a daytime talk show, handing out a pilot order for a talker hosted by Carson Kressley.
It is part of an effort by the female-centered cable net to add original programming during the day, when it currently airs mostly off-net sitcoms.
Let's hope this one doesn't go the way of the ill-fated Christopher Lowell show.

It really pains me to say it, but I love Carson. Which is like admitting you love having herp sores. Except there's Valtrex for the herp.
That said, he's a really talented guy in the "do as I say, not do as I do" style arena. He's done some very nice work for Ralph Lauren and his style book is actually a well-structured and entertaining read. I just wish he'd throttle back on the flame thrower. A lot.
I love Carson Kressley's crazy ass. I see him on Conan from time to time and he cracks me up.
Christopher Lowell taught me to have fun merchandizing my shelves and other horizontal areas in my home.
Cord, were you the one who showed that short clip of Christopher Lowell trying to have his own version of The View? Sweet fancy Moses, that was hysterical. I have thought of it often, especially when Joy Behar is speaking (I hate that trout-faced woman)and it makes me laugh every time.

QC…that was my sneeky ploy to get Cord to acknowledge us! I'm not really a bitch (Ok, yes I am) but no one has been "Bested" in a long time. I miss the occasional pink banner. Am I that sad? You're damn right.

I am taking a class at community college on "Learn When to Shut Up".
It's a "living room series". I have to do the work via the computer. I ditch a lot so I can log on to Mollygood. I will pay attention in the future. :-)
