I Know

"I wear black on the outside/ Because black is how I feel on the inside…And if I seem a little strange/ Well, that's because I am"

Like every despondent but generally healthy creative, Lindsay Lohan finally turns to Morrissey as a cure for depression. Viva hate.

Couldn't stand to be kept away
    Just for a day
    From your body
Wouldn't want to be swept away
    Far away
From the one that I love

After all that's been said and done
You're just a part of me I can't let go

And um, Morrissey is gay. So that makes 3 for today. May be I should take back my comment from the Clooney thread. I'm having flashbacks of last Thursday. You know, Kitchy, "Backtrack and cover your ass."

Well, after all, life has been AWFULLY rough on Lindsay: wealth, fame, public adoration, boundless luxury, world travel, hobnobbing with some of the leading people of her time - yes, I'd say that life has handed Lindsay Lohan a shit biscuit on a silver platter.
    The horror, the horror…

I love that song too…I just don't like seeing it being blemished by association with someone of such inferior musical ability.

I think if I could translate her inner feelings to song it would sound something like this.

All around me are familiar faces
Worn out places, worn out faces
Bright and early for their daily races
    Going nowhere, going nowhere
Their tears are filling up their glasses
    No expression, no expression
Hide my head I want to drown my sorrow
    No tomorrow, no tomorrow
And I find it kind of funny
I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which I'm dying
Are the best I've ever had
I find it hard to tell you
I find it hard to take
    When people run in circles
    It's a very, very
    Mad World
    Mad world

You all see her ummm, young'ish beauty and all her fame. But on the inside she's all deep and sad.

photokat…if that's your blog, great article on that pig rudy. he has to be brought down…he's really a dangerous idealogue, especially on iraq.

Thanks James. It is my blog and Rudy is a pig. I wouldn't trust him with my dog, much less the country. There are lots of good articles floating around about how bad this guy is, so I hope we are all able to build up momentum in an effort to stop him.

Here's a link if anyone else out there dislikes Rudy as much as I do:

thanks. what worries me is that i have friends who have never even thought of voting republican who say "well, he's no worse than hillary" or "he wouldn't be too bad as president". this really scares me if he has that effect on true-blue republican haters like my friends. i just don't get it but i guess most people just skim the surface…i'm trying to inform people about his stance on iraq and some of his other more fascist leanings on police and social issues. not to mention his pledge to let the religious right vette his judicial candidates before he appoints them.

    WAKE UP PEOPLE!

Fully 1/3 of this country still believe Saddam had something to do with 9/11. And polls are suggesting that those people are pro-Rudy. You hear about his fundraising dinner that was 9.11 a plate? Gimme a break. Or how he took a phone call from his wife in the middle of an NRA speech and later claimed that since 9/11 he and his wife always answer each other phone alls even though HE WAS MARRIED TO SOMEONE ELSE WHEN 9/11 HAPPENED. Good grief. yeah, family values, my ass.

Agreed, J_B. Fools need to wake up!
And again, agreed, nice blog post, Kat.

I agree with you James and Stopthemadness. People either skim the surface, OR they don't feel that their vote can make a difference (combined with fear maybe?). Problem is, that not everyone is informed and does their homework. The mainstream media is useless, controlled by greedy jackasses who have their own agenda (and we know who is behind it all)! The media doesn't ask the hard questions and they don't bother to expose fraud where it exists. It's truly pathetic. I am worried that it will get much worse, before it gets better, and I wonder just how far down in the toilet this country needs to get before people WAKE UP! When did common sense go out the window and when did we become little lambs mindlessly following without questioning?
