IMO, the biggest threat to the "institution of marriage" is not gay marriage, but divorce.

you wanna protect that good ol' institution? constitutional amendment banning divorce.

I am in the military and agree with him 100%. Most intelligent members of the armed forces don't really care about it either. It's something evangelicals and homophobes lambast, but most of us would just rather deal with someone based on thier competence, not what they do after they get home.
