Back in May, while discussing with David Letterman his trespassing arrest at a Chicago Walgreens, Shia Labeouf noted, "Drinking and driving is one thing, but drinking and shopping … it's just as bad." Ha! Funny, because he knows that's not true. But now that the young actor has drunkenly rolled his pickup truck into another car in Hollywood, endangering himself and two others in the process, he probably wishes it were.
LaBeouf was trying to make a left turn at an intersection in West Hollywood around 3am when his pick-up collided with another vehicle, rolling the truck over, said Sgt Scott Wolf, of the Los Angeles County Sheriff.
"It was immediately apparent to officers responding on the scene that LaBeouf was intoxicated and he was subsequently placed under arrest," Sgt Wolf said.
The 22-year-old actor was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre and was being treated for injuries to his left hand and a knee, as well as a minor head injury, Sgt Wolf said.
This will reportedly put LaBeouf off Transformer 2 filming for a month. As of now, nobody knows how quickly the LA County justice system will slide the kid through unscathed.

Being that it IS California, Shia LaDouche will got off with a jay walking ticket and the less famous driver of the other car will get life in prison without the possibility of parole. You know, to prove California is tough on crime.

Here's my cracked-out theory. Ok, with this massive influx of babies all over Hollywood, the balance in the universe (specifically Hollywood) needs to be reset. The universe is trying to kill the douchebags in that town one by one and the way it's going about it is with DUI's. It's a shame that the universe should try harder and go after people like Paris and Jeremy Piven. Damn universe, my emotions will NOT be toyed with!
