Well, her initial plastic surgeon told her she was at risk for a heart attack if her operated and urged her to get checked out and okayed before he would operate. So what did she do? She went to someone else, who didn't know about any pre-existing health conditions.

Vanity is such a scary thing sometimes.

exactly cait. i heard the same thing on CNN last night (anderson cooper covered it like it was the 9/11 attacks)…the previous doc's advice was ignored and now this douche bag doctor has to pay, at least monetarily. quite frankly, the state should maybe bring charges of negligence as well.

The good doctor was arrested on dui's. But he was also on a Discovery show as well as, Oprah. You should always check out your doctor but people will sadly trust people they see on tv.

Something in my brain sends up a red flag when I find my self being influenced to believe in tv personalities…might be the Dr. Phil syndrome or something.
