Nerve.com, the "literate smut" site, has put together a list of the 50 sexiest music videos of all time. It's very thorough and generally right – our jam, "That's the Way Love Goes," is at 31 – but our 11-year-old self takes issue with the omission of "Hot for Teacher."

Wow! I would never have guessed those top 10 cliche for sexiness videos. Nerve gets an F for originality.
Not a bad list, I don't agree with some of them. In my book, Chris Isaak's Wicked Game is hands down one of the sexiest videos ever made. That video is way hotter than Addicted to Love. Some don't even make any sense, No Sleep Till Brooklyn, Love Shack? Great songs but not sexiest videos of all time. This list is a good example of sex appeal being subjective.
My pick is #21.

Sadly I can't see the list (access denied at work), but fezzig, I agree with you, that D'angelo video is sex.
I'm sorry, there's nothing *less* sexy than anything that has to do with "Love Shack". The last thing I want to associate with sex is that voice saying "LOVE SHACK BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Er…maybe that voice replaced by, I don't know, James McAvoy's might make me change my mind, though.
I like Lenny Kravitz's video for "Again". And I love that damn "Baby did a bad bad thing" video.
Wicked Game. That should be the only video on the list.
When you go to karaoke night and you see a bunch of overweight nerdy-nerds singing Love Shack like they're the first ones to ever do it, you know that there is NOTHING sexy about that song. Not the lyrics, not the tempo, not the video. This list is crap.
There's no doubt Wicked Game is up there. On most lists it's No. 1.
But Helena doesn't look that good anymore.
But Chris Isaak does.
Dubbing "Addicted To Love" as the sexiest video is like dubbing "Hip to be Square" the coolest song.
Vintage Helena Sandy Buttcheeks > Tiny hunch-mullet with a metronome.
The fact that Bjork is even on there shocks the wee wee out of me.
"wicked game" has to be number one! how many of us when we were little felt like we were doing something bad when that video came on?
i'd put "pagan poetry" as number two. i'm happy it made the list at all.

mmmh, 'fraid so. i woulda been in fourth or fifth grade. but we're all oldie oldertons here; we're a group that actaully remembers music videos playing on mtv and vh1.
The first record I bought was really a record and was "Meet the Beatles"..I had a huge collection of 45s. We owned a Beta Max before we got a vcr. I had a tv in my room that I actually had to get up and turn a dial to change the channels…shit…back in the old days. Most of what I can reference I remember as an adult. That's scary!
