A woman is suing Victoria's Secret after being injured by one of the company's thongs a year ago. It's all complete and utter nonsense, especially when the sketchy lawyer offers up this fantastic nugget of wisdom: "Victoria's Secret does have its angels, but the devil is in the details." But it's all about holding VS accountable. Nothing to do with the money.

Nothing to do with the fact that people will sue for anything because they feel the right to be wrapped in bubble wrap and kept safe from everything - especially thier own stupidity.

Buy underwear your own size and then you don't get an atomic wedgie. I too would like to wear the size 00. But ripping myself another asshole is not worth it.

So she's going to sue VS because she tried to shove her size 16 hiney into a size 6 thong. Their cheap crap can only take so much stress.

How does a lawsuit like that even happen? It took her a whole year to sue the company? I wonder what that inner dialogue was like? If they take those of the market I'm going to be pissed. No panty lines.

Anyone who has ever bought VS merchandise knows that it falls apart after one washing. I stopped buying their stuff years ago because it was such a waste of money. I agree that she was trying to shove her HUGE behind into those panties. Be real lady. The attorney should be as embarassed as her… thanks for admitting to everyone that YOUR REAREND IS WAY TOO BIG FOR WEARING TINY VICTORIA'S SECRET UNDER PANTIES!!!

The cotton underwear are crap. But I'm going to have to disagree on the seamless stuff. But I hate their bras because they LIE. I buy mine at oddly enough, Fredricks of Hollywood. Their cup sizes are pretty true to fit. VS cups are always too small.

VS is the only place that carries bras that don't poke and pinch me. The fitters are so annoying though, they always give me demi bras even when I specifically ask for full.

Also, my stuff has always lasted me for years.

I hate VS. Why pay $50 for a bra that stretches out and warps shape after only having it for a month? Their stuff is garbage and WAY overpriced. I personally like the Calvin Klien bras from Macys.
I had one girl at VS come up to me the second i walked in the store and was hounding me about helping me. so i decided to let her. big mistake. i told her what i was looking for and she took one look at me and said, those bras only go up to a 36D… So i looked at her square in the eyes and said "well good…since i wear a 34C" WTF? What was she trying to say? Bitch.

juju, ain't that the truth? Plus they don't carry over a D cup in the stores, which is really just a mid C anyway. And the band size is off as well.

Okay, I don't shop in VS because my fat arse won't fit in their products, but looking at the video, it looked like the heart was on the back. Which raises the question . . . if the heart is indeed on the back, how in the hell did it shoot her in the eye? And who the heck shows that much cleavage on national TV? (Well, besides Pam Anderson.)

I call shenanigans on this case.

The fact that the lawyer kept dodging the money question says right there it's all about the money. He pointed out that VS sells the thongs with metal and pointy edges, well she made the choice to buy it. No one was forcing her. At the risk of drawing the hate of the ladies on this site, if she had bought a pair that fit her she wouldn't have had this problem. Maybe it's just me, but that pair they showed looked a little small for her. Also, the metal parts looked to be on the side of the hip, how in the hell did it pop off and hit her in the eye?

I hope they fight this to the end, but I doubt they will. The sad thing is, VS will settle the case before it gets to court. Thats what happens with most of these BS lawsuits. It's easer and cheaper to pay the person off than go to court.

Kitchy - I buy DD's in the store all the time. I have to buy my bras there…I can't ever seem to get any others to fit me properly. If someone knows of somewhere cheaper to get DD bras that fit nicely (no cup runneth over action) I'm all over it. Who wants to spend $58 each time they need a new bra?

I can never get VS dd's to fit me. They have very few styles in that size but they still always pop out. And they really do try to push those demis on you. You can't wear a demi if you're a c or bigger. Your stuff just pops out or you get that weird split boobie look.

I like the Fredricks extreme cleavage because they have the 32 dd's. I don't know why I have problems finding 32's? And the straps are convertible so you can wear them with lots of stuff and you can take out the extra lift thing if you don't feel like having porno breasts that day. Plus, you can get two for the price of one at VS.

Dang what was she doing yanking on that thing to put it on…or she couldn't take it off and hand to cut it off which made it in to a slingshot and that's how she got injured. I have never heard of anyone getting injured from underwear! Makes me suspicious of her attorney? Is he family to her? And why would you be willing to risk your credibility as an attorney to take on this case? Something doesn't smell right and its not her underwear…

Ours don't carry DD. Not that it matters, even that would be too small in a regular bra, much less VS's that run small.

My bras run a lot more than $58, but they're also custom fitted and altered with that included in the price.

VS does not have bra cups large enough for me, their quality is low, their prices are high because of all the advertising, and because of VS everytime there is a school election someone has a trite poster that says "Victoria's secret is…. shhhh.. vote for Ricky." Argh.

How could this lawsuit have gotten as far as it already has??? It is very clear to anyone who looks at the thong that the heart is on the BACK of the garment, which completely dispels her attorney's claim of the heart being placed on the outer leg where it could easily pop off and injure the eye. Unless her eyes are above her ass on the back of her head there is no way logistically the "incident" could have taken place the way she describes. She would have had to put them on backwards for any metal to hit her in the eye. I can't believe this made it to television with no one bothering to point that obvious fact out. Maybe the attorney doesn't get far enough with women to know that basic fact, but Meredith Viera surely does! Besides, that thong had to be stretched like a slingshot in order for the metal to have traveled so far upwards to hit her eye anyway!! Thanks, I've had my laugh for the day!!!

    O.k.

Since you all can't see me, I can "tmi" this info: Those damn thongs are like slingshots. I wished I knew I could have sued someone for damages when I decided it was a good idea to try these dental floss underpants.

I most certainly was upset enough to sue someone, I'll grant you that. Those Victoria's Secrets cost a bundle too!!

I believe I may have injured some ladyparts that I may never use again. (In all fairness, I hadn't used those ladyparts in quite some time as it was…)

I used to call those sandles that have that plastic piece that slides right in between your big tow and the second toe "Thongs".

Why didn't they leave the thongs to the sandles realm? Why did they think we needed to put some thongs on our lady parts?

Crumb - If you're a 36 or larger, Cacique bras (they're now sold in Lane Bryant stores) are fantastic. They're super comfy, far cheaper and last forever.
