It was a beautiful day for a stroll in Chicago for Angelina Jolie and one of her clan. Can you guess which member of her adopted brood she's toting around?

Hey, that's not a child! That's Beyonce! I didn't know they were friends. I guess she really is a diva, what with refusing to walk like a grown woman. Pathetic.

PS There's some Beowulf stills included here. They're small.

She needs help. Did you see what happened last time she tried to walk down the stair by herself?

I'm going to see Beowulf just because I'm a huge Neil Gaiman fan. I'm looking forward to Stardust, too. *crossing fingers* He might be making American Gods into a movie next! *crossing my other fingers* I would also LOVE to see Coraline or Good Omens onscreen.

Here's a link to a great Neil Gaiman short story:

She could be good in it…just not what I pictured for his mother…god that story used to scare the beejeebus out of me.
Anthony Hopkins is in it too, and he always kicks some AWESOME mayjah arse.

Those shoes are tragic. I don't know if Beowulf is going to suck or not, but I can't wait to see Stardust. It has Ricky Gervais in it…he is amazing.

Snow, Glass, Apples is a pretty chilling story, if you ever have a chance to hear the audio version with um whatshername that actress who was on Cheers, Bebe something, it's excellent, she is really spectacular.

Beowulf is a terrific story, can't wait to see it, and Stardust too.

I read Snow, Glass, Apples for the first time maybe 12 or 13 years ago. It's still my favorite short story, and I love sharing it with people. I still get goosebumps at the end, and the introspection it induces lasts at least an hour.

Glad you enjoyed it, BeA. :)
