It's not impossible to get your shit together with paparazzi stalking you. It's impossible to get your shit together when you are an unmedicated manic-depressive with more issues than a Bipolar I diagnosis can explain away. Amy's a brilliant and talented mess, and I think if her husband is found guilty and given a heavy sentence then she's going to implode. I once compared her to Billie Holiday and began to take it back until I realized how much sense the analogy made.

Bad dysfunctional family has daughter with mutation, (great voice) and this is what it looks like folks. Look at the person and you see the shitty family they came from. She needs to psychologicly differentiate from her family-and only after she is sober. Good luck.

Saw her in concert in Boston. She is SO talented and pretty sweet, but, obviously fragile. Like Britney, when you get involved with the wrong people and you are strong-willed and your family can't even rescue you, you are a car crash just waiting to happen. And, to have it played out in public with the paparazzi hanging all over you to get those really sad pathetic moments on the internet. I can't imagine anything worse. Poor Amy.

What a poor tormented soul. I look at her and want to weep. Because she is a star some of us forget our sense of dignity and compassion, and feel that it is ok to make fun of, or draw judgment on. When a person sees another person so tortured and so down, to kick at them is more of a statement about the "kicker" not the "kickee". Seeing this photo makes my want to scoop her up, put her on my lap, and give her the love and acceptance that seems to be beyond so many of us. Poor Amy - yes. But for those lacking in compassion - an even bigger poor you.
