Here's alleged "little pig" Ireland Baldwin out tarting it up in Los Angeles this weekend. She's petting dogs and walking around as if there's not even the slightest possibility that her mercurial father—who's not sure if she's 12 or 11—may be calling her with a deep-seated resentment and a bloodlust that will only be sated by a scapegoat. Can you say "thoughtless pain in the ass"?

Can I get a definition of "tarting it up" in this context? Because the only way I've heard it doesn't fit at all with the story and pictures.

I hear ya, Kitchy. It is obviously a joke, but the context of the joke in this story does not make any sense to me either. Maybe it has another meaning other than what I have heard. Ryan, I think Kitchy was saying she did not get the joke, not that she did not know it was a joke.
Exactly. I figured Cord was making a joke and I'm not mocking it, I'm asking for an explanation of it. Which yes, I know ruins the point of a joke. *lol*
Did Alec accuse her of tarting it up in his voicemail or something? I admit, I couldn't bring myself to listen to the whole thing and the possibility that Cord was referencing the voicemail occured to me after I'd posted my question.
I thought of that possibility too, you know, that Alec might've accused her of tarting it up. I don't think he did though. I did listen to the whole thing, even though it was pretty hard to stomach, and I don't remember anything about that.
Oh my gosh! I must have heard his tape incorrectly. He didn't call her a "rude thoughtless little pig"! He called her a "rude, thoughtless little PUG". And he didn't know her age because he obviously doesn't know how to convert to dog years. Duh!
