Now, everyone who wasn't around for you guys and Ugly Kid Joe are gonna be confused, going, "Why are they so forthright in admitting they suck?"

This isn't so bad…sounds like The Pretenders. It's no "Queer," though.
She IS wearing makeup! It's makeup made to look like no makeup. See, eyes, with mascara. See cheeks with light blush. She is beautiful no doubt– but she's wearing makeup– just not what you're used to seeing.
Stumpy's dead one; it sounds like the Pretenders have been reinvented by Garbage.
And I love Shirley Manson staunchly. I own every Garbage album and adore them dearly.
The video is based on the Luis Bunuel movie "Belle Du Jour", starring Catherine Deneuve. Shirley Manson's hairstyle, the madam, a lot of the shots, etc., are meant to look like that film.
The film is about a rich bored housewife who becomes a high-priced call girl at a very upscale bordello and falls for a "bad guy".
