It was funny enough when the Miss Universe pageant producers decided the best way to highlight formal evening gowns was with Sean Paul's "Give It Up to Me" (sample lyric: "You know you got the sinting inna me pants a develop and a swell up"), but watching Miss USA's knowing look of horror the moment before she drops was the real gem of the night.
There's probably a metaphor for American foreign relations in here somewhere, especially considering she was following Miss Venezuela.

I'm so confused by the first few words in those lyrics. I don't know the song, so I'm trying to figure out what "sintin" is.
I figured I'd go ahead and look up the song lyrics because, well, I was just baffled. I still am. It's the most retarded thing I've ever read in my life. Maybe it makes sense when you hear the song, but I swear I couldn't find one coherent phrase in the entire damn thing.
Not that I'm an expert on Caribbean patois, but this one seems pretty obvious…
"sinting" = something
Carribean, huh? It still doesn't seem obvious to me… "inti" does not in any way sound like "ometh", but ok. :)
Thanks for the input!
She's friggin' skinny. Like, TOO skinny.
I love how she just popped back up and pasted on that smile like nothing happened. I did that falling off a bar stool once. Just popped right off, and then came back up in a nice fluid motion and hoped no one noticed. I'm sure that's what she was going for. Bravo, sister. Well played.
There has to be a metaphor somewhere in that video…
This is almost as funny as Miss Universe 1992, when Miss USSR took a face plant to "Informer."
