American Idle
Here's Paula Abdul's absolutely terrible pre-taped Super Bowl performance, which highlights the choreographer/singer's new single and completely belies her job titles.
The song to which she lip syncs is called "Dance Like There's No Tomorrow" and Jossip overlord David Hauslaib thinks there's a possibility Abdul didn't sing the original. ("Not her voice," he speculates.) If that is, indeed, the case and the music industry finds out, it will be shaken to the core in a way it hasn't since the rise and fall of Milli Vanilli. Quelle scandale!

Was not impressed with the song and dance. In fact the stupor bowl was pretty lame, entertainment wise. The only good part was seeing the Pats loose. Go NY!
I just had the misfortune of listening to and watching Heidi Montag's new abomination. Really, this could be worse.
Still better than Britney.
Why are you tormenting us with awful, headache inducing music videos? Is it not bad enough that it's Monday? Couldn't make it through either one of these.
Of course its "Not her voice". It's all computer generated (just like Britney e.b.). Also, for someone who prides herself on being a choreographer, she's looking an awful lot like Heidi with those arm flails.
How come no one knows how to spell lose? Everyone is "loosing" their minds.
I've decided that the more robotic the voice, the crappier the singer is. Paula is right up there with Paris and Heidi. As a matter of fact the 3 of them should all go on tour together. Hopefully they will all be on the tour bus when that rogue satellite comes back into earths atmosphere. Bulls eye.
Considering all the drugs she's on, I think she looks a lot better than Heidi.
But I'm not impressed.
Oh and a big, PS. If you even think about loading a Jessica Simpson or Britney song, I'm sure my brain will explode.
Doesn't everyone lip sing at arena events like the super bowl because of the echo. I really don't think it is a big deal to do it in that case. If you do it at your concerts on the other hand that is not cool.
I think it's her singing, but I think it's been so overly processed that it's hard to tell.
I actually liked it! Put aside her crazy head, it's not so bad. Infectious. Totally better than some cheap ass video made by an opportunistic boyfriend on the beach. Way better.
And yeah, what's the problem with the lip-syncing? I mean, we all know Paula isn't the best singer in the world, and she isn't trying to be one. She just wants to erm, dance like there's no tomorrow?
Like I said, Paula she crazy, but you gotta love her.
