    Now for the safety concerns…

The chest clip on that car seat is way too low. It should be just over baby's nipples over the chest. Also, is that a chain around that baby's neck? Is there a subconcious wish that these kids had never been born? I wonder if they let him play with plastic shopping bags in his crib?
Or maybe, "Oh, look, y'all, Jay Jay's tryin' to plug in mommy's curlin' iron all by himself! What a big boy!"

Britney needs to retake that course on carseat safety. A few times.

I agree Kitchy..she is so ignorant!! And judging from the pic of her by herself….she needs to shave her underarm!!!

I'm just glad the baby's wearing the proper safety gear on the boat.

    Oh wait.

Britney can't even use her own safety gear (i.e. underwear), so it's not surprising that she can't figure out how to ensure her own kids' well-being.

Butterpecan, I completely agree. I feel bad noticing every error she's making though. (Not really, but I prefer to judge her for her crappy outfits than for crappy parenting; wish she'd just get her mom act together, ya know?!)

I don't know- looking at this poor kid's face just hurts my heart. I mean, he's not being abused or starved (we think), but being in the public eye and exposed to all the nonsense… do you think kids will come up to him in 10 years with pictures of his mom's antics?

Ok, to who said that we need to leave Britany alone…you must work for the California Department of Children and Families Services. They seem to feel that way.
I get it to some degree. I leave moms alone who choose to nurse in public. They are doing what is best for their children.
But, boozing it up and smoking while pregnant is NOT doing what is best. Almost dropping your child but saving your drink…again, not doing what's best. Driving down PCH with your son on your lap…not what's best there either. Flashing your punan and acting like a drunken, white trash whore….nope, that can't be too good either. Removing their relationship with their grandmother out of spite…not seeing anything good about that.
I guess you are correct. Perhaps we should ignore bad parenting and borderline abuse. Maybe we SHOULD just leaves moms alone. That way when their children grow up to have major psychological disorders…if they make it to adulthood…our tax dollars will have a place to go. To pay for years of therapy, or to house them in an already overcrowded prison. Sounds good. I won't give her a hard time anymore.

    Momof2:
are you serious right now? I mean, maybe you can teach Britney how to raise 2 children with all the time you spend reading tabloids, mistaking them for biographies, ranting in comment sections about people you don't know or will never meet, and being generally uneducated.
Or maybe you can explain that to your children one day in therapy when they want to know why you were more interested in other people's lives than theirs.

I think the child-dropping, child-on-lap-while-driving, and cooch-flashing have been pretty well documented, Miss Stephanie. (Britney, is that you?)

Yes, I don't care at all about carseat and boat safety with my own kids. I throw them in the vehicle and yell "HANG ON!"

I would comment on Miss Stephanie's ignorant reply, but I have already promised not to give shitty mothers a hard time. Supposing that she has children. I guess I can extend that promise to people in general. Yeah, I said it.

@ momof2, as your original comment was to me.

i think that ripping her apart for how she put her kid in the child saftey seat is quite different than dropping her child, smoking, driving down the highway with him in her lap.

im no britney fan but peope rip her parenting apart ever chance they get. that kids not earing a hat, i bet he doesnt have sun screen on. i think you should give her a break. Gwen's kid isnt wearing a hat, suri doesnt have sunglasses. I never said breaking the law, risking fetal alcohol syndrom should be ignored.. i just think that any mom followed around all the time would have shots like above. At least the kids in the appropriate seat.

jesus, if my mom was followed around all the time, you'd all have similar things to say. And i think she was a pretty damn good mom. i just think ppl should give the lady a break.

i meant all the celeb moms.. not just britney. its like a sport ripping apart these moms… destroying her becuase her kid may, or may not be wearing sunscreen doesnt help the kid… she as a celeb should be under the microscope she as a mom, in minute detail should not.

i just hate when ppl nitpick and it seems constant on celeb moms.
