Yes, this girl had me after seeing her in FAILED TO LAUNCH–I LOVE that character!!

Zooey Deschanel is one of my fav actresses, I LOVE her in Elf and that track is one of the best on that album. Thank you for posting this Molly.
It's really refreshing to see a few gals in Hollywood that garner attention on sheer talent alone - meaning, without the aid of acting like dumbasses or flashing their cooches or other lady parts to the world……see: Simpson, Jessica, Hilton, Paris, etc., etc……too many to count lately.
Thank the movie gods for women like Zooey.

ohmigosh i LOVE her singing voice. if she made an album i'd totally buy it. (plus she's so beautiful and not in a trashy kind of way! a first…..)

I am so glad this girl is finally getting the credit she deserves. I thought she was adorable the minute I saw her on Jimmy Fallon's "Idiot Boyfriend" video. She had really good parts in Almost Famous and The Good Girl with Jennifer Aniston. So glad that she didn't become all fake and stupid. She is classy and represents that there can still be down to earth actors.

I think Zooey needs to just give up this charade and marry me already. I didn't know she sang. I thought I was smitten before…

With her style, her talent, her personality (as much as one can judge from interviews and the like) and her hotness, I don't know how she isn't ruling the world. I, for one, would welcome our new retrosexual overlord and remind her that, as a techie, I will be of great help tracking down hard-to-find retro clothing items on eBay as well as mixing retro ambiance in her studio recordings.

if you like zooey's singing voice you would love Nellie McKay. when i first heard zooey in 'Elf' i was like 'she reminds me of nellie!' she has two albums out, 'Get Away from Me' (a parody title after Noah Jones 'Come Away with Me') and 'Pretty Little Head'. The first album is awesome! the second had to grow on me…
